The former synagogue of Szolnok is one of Lipot Baumhorn<\/a>‘s many. There’s a statue of this famous architect in front of the building that today serves as an art gallery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The synagogue itself has a great location at the end of the pedestrian bridge across the river Theiss\/tisza on the one side and one of the nicest streets in Szolnok we have seen on the other. It is an impressive building, eclectic style with Rundbogen<\/em> elements. All architectural elements inside are kept in white, so it can be used for the purpose of an art gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
